Accommodation at The Berry Guest Farm
We have 6 cottages that are fully equipped for self-catering. Our prices include vat. We supply duvets, pillows and towels, crockery, kitchen equipment and utensils. There is a small stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster in each kitchen. Each cottage has an inside fireplace and an outside braai. There is a TV available with the basic SABC channels. All taps on the farm use spring water from a spring on the farm. We are pet friendly, limited to small animals. We do not allow music and/or loud noise on the farm.
No.1 Blackberry cottage
Blackberry cottage is a 4 sleeper cottage. It has an open kitchen and dining area, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. There is one bathroom with a shower. This cottage is close to the jungle gym and swimming pool area.

No.3 Youngberry cottage
Youngberry cottage is a 6 sleeper cottage. It has an open kitchen and dining area, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a double bed and bunk bed. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. This cottage is close to the jungle gym and swimming pool area. Youngberry cottage has a beautiful view of the mountains.

No.4 Strawberry cottage
Strawberry cottage is an 6 sleeper cottage. It has a kitchen and dining area as well as a lounge area. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 3 pairs of bunk beds. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. This cottage is close to the swimming pool area and is set separately from the other cottages.

No.5 Raspberry cottage
Raspberry cottage is a 6 sleeper cottage. It has an open kitchen and dining area, 3 bedrooms, 2 downstairs, one with a double bed and one with bunk bed, and another upstairs with a bunkbed of which the bottom bed is a double bed.
There are 2 bathrooms, one large and one small, both of which has a toilet and shower. This cottage is set close to the berry fields and stands alone. Raspberry cottage has a beautiful view of the mountains, especially from the top floor outside deck.

No.6 Bird's Nest cottage
Bird's Nest cottage is a 4 sleeper cottage. It has an open kitchen and dining area, open plan top floor with 2 sleep areas, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. There is a separate toilet and shower area. This cottage is set on its own hidden around the corner of the dam. Bird's nest cottage has a beautiful view of the mountains.

Regarding payments
Deposits as confirmation:

Bookings are only confirmed when 50% of total cost has been paid as deposit.

Guests have 48 hours from when booking is made to confirm booking.

If no payment is received within this time the provisional booking will expire.

Unless otherwise agreed, balance is owed no later than 2 days before booking.
Cancellations:

Notice of a confirmed booking must please be in writing.

Cancellation within 10 working days of occupation will only be refunded if a replacement can be found.
Refund policy:

When cancelling more than 30 days before booking, full refund.

When cancelling between 30 and 10 days before booking, 50% of deposit.

When cancelling between 10 and 1 days before booking, 50% of total, deposit not refunded

If no prior notice has been given by day of arrival, guest will be liable for the full amount.

We know sometimes life happens and we will try to be as understanding as possible

In case of a lockdown, reservations will be paused. Credit is kept and bookings can be rescheduled up to 2 months after travel is again allowed

General

For single night bookings please contact us directly.

We have a minimum stay of 2 nights over weekends and 3 nights over long weekends or holidays.

Check-in time is from 14h00 - 17h00, arrival between 17h00 - 20h00 with prior notice.

No arrivals after 20h00.

Check-out time is 10h00.

Day visitors to cottages only by prior arrangement must still pay for a day pass.

No music or loud noise, please consider that there are also other guests.
Pets

Guests are responsible for any damages their pets cause

Only dogs with a shoulder height of maximum 40cm
-
No more than 2 dogs per group

Disobedient dogs will be asked to wear a dog mask

Disruptive dogs will be asked to be placed at a daycare center away from the farm

Dogs must sleep on their own beds, not ours
