Camping at The Berry Guest Farm

We have 6 cottages that are fully equipped for self-catering. Our prices include VAT.  We supply duvets, pillows and towels, crockery, kitchen equipment and utensils.  There is a stove and fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster in each kitchen. Each cottage has an inside fireplace and an outside braai. There is a TV available with the basic SABC channels.

Regarding payments

Deposits as confirmation:

  • Bookings are only confirmed when 50% of total cost has been paid as deposit.

  • Guests have 48 hours from when booking is made to confirm booking.

  • If no payment is received within this time the provisional booking will expire.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, balance is owed no later than 3 days before booking.

Cancellations:

  • Notice of a confirmed booking must please be in writing.

  • Cancellation within 10 working days of occupation will only be refunded if a replacement can be found.

 

Refund policy:

  • When cancelling more than 30 days before booking, full refund.

  • When cancelling between 30 and 10 days before booking, 50% of deposit.

  • When cancelling between 10 and 1 days before booking, 50% of total, deposit not refunded

  • If no prior notice has been given by day of arrival, guest will be liable for the full amount.

  • We know sometimes life happens and we will try to be as understanding as possible

  • In case of lockdown, reservations will be paused. Credit is kept and bookings can be rescheduled up to 2 months after travel is again allowed

Rules and Regulations

General

  • We have a minimum stay of 2 nights over weekends and 3 nights over long weekends or holidays.

  • Check-in time is from 14h00 - 17h00, arrival between 17h00 - 20h00 with prior notice.

  • No arrivals after 20h00.

  • Check out time is 10h00.

  • Day visitors to cottages only by prior arrangement must still pay for day pass.

  • No loud noises after 10 pm, please consider that there are also other guests.
